Hi, thank you for the great review. The camera, model CQ1 is very good. I am, however, having recurring connection problems where the camera ia disconnected and needs an in loco reset. The wifi symbol frequently goes to yellow and the camera will disconnect. I tried extenders, new router and better position in the house, but nothing seems to solve the problem. I am starting to believe that I have a defective camera because tue indoor cameras and other devices don't present this problem. The distance between the router and camera is about 16 metres and just a window in between. Do you have any suggestions?

MultiPan is not recommended. As it is causing some issues.

Did you have any issues linking it to your account? Mine simply won’t link. I have tried connecting it to my WiFi, nothing.. I have tried connecting it via 4g lte, nothing.. any thoughts?

For everyone reading this in 2024 and scratching your head.. Well stop. Use the official integration in home assistant. Make sure your roomba is connected to wifi. Start the setup and get to the point where it says "hold the spot and home button for 30 seconds" DON'T! Doing that seems to put the roomba in AP mode and HA won't be able to find the credentials. Even on the website it says to do the same and someone seriously needs to update this! Hold the home button only until you hear a sound and release and then hit submit and it will pop right up. And of course make sure to force close the roomba app before starting any of this! No point in going through python to find the pass word. Now it's been said that firmware updates can kill the integration so honestly if your robot is working fine i would not allow firmware updates.

Useless camera, its blurry, it wouldnt record after 9.30 for somereason. humans walking in front of it in broad day light and it doesn't pickup. Keeps sending me notifications of cars. What a waste of money.

I didn't understand anything because I have an address in the form rtsp://IPaddress:554/stream0 (I can display the stream with VLC) but I don't see anything like that in your yaml file?

The major problem for all AOSU products is their lack of a large size (read iPad size) app. They insist that their products are available for phones (iPhone app store) however, on an iPad it so damn small it’s nearly useless for a senior. All they had to do was to create the app in both and the scenes would have been fine. For a great company to miss the mark like that shows a lack of attention to detail …. Not in the hardware, but in the software for personal usage ….

The major difference between the X1 and X1S is the auto illumination. Movement detection automatically turns on the screen and key lights.

One thing you might of seemed to forget to mention, is how to turn off notifications, if you’re outside working and you don’t want it to keep sending annoying notifications. On device page at bottom click on security, click according camera you want to temporally turn off notifications. The high lighted home setting click on cog gear to check or uncheck. Video recording, notifications, camera alarm and light alarm. This video showed me some settings I didn’t know how to do, thank You

Video a little unclear. The MEROSS smart plug won’t work at all without a Matter enabled hub. I’m assuming your using an Apple hub like the Apple TV that has the built in hub or one of their speaker that include the matter support. I know that Alexa has some devices, one of their echo speakers, that also include matter support. Do you know if this plug will work with that? Thanks

What about the situation when you have two partitions - both allocated - and I want to merge the two partitions? Moreover, what about moving allocated a partition in the middle or at the end of partitions to the extreme right hand side?! Would you consider doing a video of showing these aspects?

I’m new to HA and I’m struggling to learn how to add certain integrations etc to HA in order to allow control of my smart home devices etc. I am struggling to add iRobot roomba s9+ and Braava m6. I do not understand where I need to input the command line text within HA? I am using a Mac to run my HA on now any help you can provide would be a blessing as I’ve tried to follow other people GitHub documents showing installation instructions but it’s like reading code 01010011001 to me I don’t know exactly how to do what the instructions are saying

Thanks for the helpful video. Can you tell me how far down the bar hangs below the valance when fully closed? SmartWings says it's just the 1 1/16" bar but it's clear in your video some fabric is also exposed. The distance from the bottom of the valance to the bottom of the bar would be ideal. Is there a way to tighten up the fully closed point so no fabric is exposed?

What Eufy doesn't tell you is that you NEED the Home Base in order for the camera to detect Pets(animals).
